Penny Cary presented a suggested plan to implement increased cooperation between DPCA and the United Doberman Club (UDC). Specific steps to open lines of communication were discussed, including directly contacting UDC with the goal of bringing the two clubs together. President DiNardo will send approved proposal to the UDC President for consideration and possible adoption.

Additionally:

Does it seem strange that the DPCA is giving money to the UDC? What for? Isn't this a violation of the 501(c)(3) rules?

Is the DPCA keeping the UDC afloat with the foreign aid monies?

And now talk of “bringing the clubs together” begs the question of solvency, intent of the BoD, and what rights and priveledges will be accorded UDC members in the DPCA should the two come together?

A matter such as this deserves serious consideration from the entire membership and once again, the members are excluded from any operational details of their own club.
